Erin Patricia May, 37, of Burtchville Township, died Sunday, March 11, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born February 28, 1981 in Port Huron to Patrick and Judith Cogley. She married Kenneth May on November 14, 2009 in Port Huron.

Erin was a 1999 graduate of Port Huron Northern High School and received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Social Work from Wayne State University. She was an adoption specialist with Genesee County and also worked for several years at the People's Clinic. Erin enjoyed running and traveling. She was a devoted mother who loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; three children, Sloane, Calvin and Rosalyn; her parents, Patrick and Judith Cogley; her in-laws, Kenneth and Bonnie May; siblings, Bridget (Philip Chamblee) Cogley and Ryan Cogley; grandmother, Marion Amey; sisters-in-law, Amey (Steve) Leathorn and Jessica May; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 23, and 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 24 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
